Keruing Timber

Keruing timber has moderately coarse to coarse texture. It is moderately durable — resistant to wear but can be prone to insect or fungal attack if exposed outdoors without treatment. It’s a commercially important hardwood, widely exported for structural and flooring applications. Because it’s heavy and resinous, it’s less suitable for fine furniture or delicate joinery.
